Elementary Science Methods 2: Week #14
Elementary Science Methods 2: Week #14 What did you do in the lab today? On Monday, in the lab, we continued studying climate change and began by discussing our interview with an elder. Next, we studied the effects of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. The activity we completed was the PhET Simulation, and you can see the conclusion we found below. What was the big question? How does Greenhouse gas levels impact temperature? What will happen if we continue to increase CO2? What did you learn in Thursday's discussion? In Thursday's discussion, we studied more about greenhouse gases and carbon dioxide. We studied some graphs that show the increases in carbon since the beginning of the earth. Next, we studied the effects of albedo when it reflects off certain surfaces and emits heat. We ended the lesson by talking about the snowball earth and how to have a better carbon footprint in life.
